|Nice location, but low on value

I just returned from a vacation to Wayanad. Our chosen place of stay was Greeshmam resort. We had searched a bit on the net, and found the pictures of the hotel to be fairly decent. The rooms seemed nice. And apparently they had a decent restaurant too.
To our surprise, their was no restaurant and they do not serve lunch at all!
For breakfast and dinner, which was a part of the deal, there is a a limited fixed menu and you really do not have an option of ordering anything other than that.
Also they did not serve any kind of snacks, so we had to make our own arrangement.
The hotel staff informed that the restaurant would be fully functional when the student in a hotel management institute return from their vacation (which is june onwards.)
On the pros side, the rooms (though very few in number 4-5 I am told) were quite decently done and spacious.
The hotel is located in a very picturesque location and is in a middle of a hill and heavy plantation. Though that makes the view lovely, do ensure you do not keep the windows open at night as the lights would attract a lot of insects.
There is also very little commercialization near the hotel, which makes it a very peaceful and lovely experience.
The food, bfast, dinner and tea were served on time without any delays.
Overall , its a decent stay if you are not a foodie, plan to eat lunch , snacks outside before returning and do not expect much besides pure unadulterated nature's beauty.
1) No facility for having lunch/ snacks.
2) Restrictive meal menu.
3) Too many insects at night, no insect repellent kind of stuff.
4) very few rooms, no other recreational facility.
5) No power back up, though the power went for a very little time.
6)No credit card facility. Cary enough cash.
1) Located in a very picturesque location. Very peaceful.
2) Cable TV provided.
3) Comfortable beds, nice room.
4) Prompt service of dinner/bfast.
